Equipment & Materials
Keeper gear is combat-only. It creates meaningful preparation and risk without changing Pip, Soul, gacha odds, spirit rarity, finite supply, or material drops. Spirits never equip Keeper gear.
Combat equipment
The Keeper can use a weapon, helmet, chest, legs, gloves, shoes, necklace, bracelet, shield, and utility Tool. Gear advances through T1–T7 and ★1–★5. Tier establishes base power; stars add power within that tier.
- Light armor favors Magic DEF, mobility, and casting flexibility.
- Medium armor balances Physical DEF, Magic DEF, and HP.
- Heavy armor favors Physical DEF and HP at a mobility tradeoff.
- Shield requires a one-handed weapon. It grants Physical DEF and Block Chance, never Magic DEF.
- Tool is gathering and utility focused; it provides no combat stats.
raw damage = matching ATK × skill multiplier damage after DEF = raw damage × 100 / (100 + matching DEF) final damage = damage after DEF × block multiplier
Block is not Parry. A successful Block reduces eligible final damage by 50%; it never affects damage-over-time, true damage, or execute damage. Shield Block Chance is capped at 20%.
Base crafting materials
Every craft uses exactly four reusable base material types. At least two must match the equipment identity. Candle Wax is a universal binding material, but is never mandatory in every recipe.
| Material | Equipment identity |
|---|---|
| Ash Iron | Physical weapons, heavy armor, shields |
| Hollow Wood | Ranged weapons, staff bodies, tools, lanterns |
| Gravehide | Light armor, mobility gear, gloves, shoes, dagger grips |
| Wraith Thread | Caster gear, light armor, accessories |
| Candle Wax | Universal binding |
| Whisper Ash | Magic catalyst and caster affixes |
| Bone Dust | Physical catalyst and heavy affixes |
| Gallows Sinew | Precision, speed, arrows, daggers, gloves, shoes |
| Mourning Silver | Jewelry, wards, shield trim |
| Lantern Glass | Lanterns, gathering tools, utility gear |
Dungeon and high-tier gates
Dungeons supply base materials and consumables. Pets never drop from Dungeons. Exact quantities and drop rates remain tuning variables, but tier-gated material identity and sources are fixed.
| Gear tier | Extra gate | Source |
|---|---|---|
| T1–T4 | None | Global Dungeon loot table |
| T5 | Cinder Heart | Rare Dungeon drop |
| T6 | Wraith Core | Boss or Tower Defense clear |
| T7 | Hollow Halo | High-objective Boss, Tower Defense, or weekly clear |
Star upgrades
Agate, Opal, and Crystal are gate stones for fire tiers, spirit rites, and star upgrades—not base gear crafting. Every upgrade attempt consumes one selected stone, including failure. Higher stars can downgrade gear; high-tier ★4→★5 attempts can permanently destroy it. The exact success, downgrade, and destruction outcomes must be shown before a two-step confirmation.
